Have some fun.
Take a stand.
Do some good.
Make a little history.

On March 8 in McLean, Virginia, not far from DC, an organization called The Women’s Center is holding a conference called “Advancing the Agenda.”

One of the attendees at the conference is Martha Burk, the woman who campaigns raucously against Augusta National Golf Club for not admitting women while she presides over dozens of organizations that refuse to grant membership to men.

No more mulligans, Martha!

The National Coalition of Free Men is a “masculist” organization that demands fairness for men.
The Washington Chapter, NCFM-DC, has a few things we want Martha to hear and a few signs we want her to read.

Just show up any time between 8 am and noon (the earlier the better).
Saturday, March 8, 2003
at the McLean Hilton in McLean, Virginia.
Directions.

If you want to help us get ready for the big day
send an e-mail to Stan Gaver (sbgaver[at]earthlink.net).

Door Prizes!

We’re going to have fun,
we promise.

Does Martha tee you off? Now you can return the favor.

The first twelve anti-Burk protesters who show up at the rally will get a free Burk-emblazoned golf ball.

A box of a dozen Martha Balls will be given to the person with:

  • the best sign
  • the funniest/most satirical sign
  • the best protest attire/costume
  • the person who traveled farthest to attend the protest.
